MECHANIST Tips:
- RACER REFRESH offers an opportunity to change damper valving and/or fluid viscosity to customize the ride characteristics.
- If your fork/shock has more than 100 hours on it since the last service, then FULL PULL is the way to go.
- BASIC MAINTENANCE may be necessary more frequently if the component sees a lot of mud.
- Tack a service upgrade onto a standard service for best economy
- If a shock has had repeated failures, it might be due to a hidden culprit: consider your frame’s linkage bearings (no longer maintaining alignment), or eyelet bushings (too tight).
